Cornerstone Clinical Consulting assists skilled nursing facilities (SNF) and long-term care (LTC) facilities in understanding and maintaining current and future Medicare and WA State Medicaid payment. Focused reviews include WA State's new Quality Enhancement incentive payment (implemented July 2016) and use of specific Quality Measures.
Cornerstone Clinical Consulting provides teaching and training to the MDS interdisciplinary team (IDT) members to help better understand entitled reimbursement based on the RAI (Resident Assessment Instrument) coding criteria. |
Consulting services include regularly scheduled visits to provide routine reviews (or testing) of completed MDS assessments for optimization of the case mix RUG and or PPS / PDPM scores. Consulting guides in accurate MDS coding criteria, based on Medicare and Medicaid rules. Each visit is concluded by an exit meeting with the Administrator and DNS to go over the findings of the day.
